Couples & Relationship Counseling.

For the same old fight, the quiet distance, or the big question — stay or go, how to trust again, how to feel close. A neutral room where both of you are heard.

Couple in a warm counseling conversation about their relationship

What it is

Two people, one team again.

With Daniel Kim, LMFT and team, sessions slow your cycle down: what triggers it, what each of you feels underneath, and what to do instead. We use Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy tools — practical, research-backed, and jargon-free.

Premarital couples build a strong start; long-term couples repair trust after hurt; separated or discerning couples get clarity without pressure.

What’s included

  • · 60–75 minute joint sessions, plus brief individual check-ins
  • · Communication & repair toolkit for home
  • · Trust-rebuilding plans after infidelity or hurt
  • · Premarital assessment & shared-values work

Good fit if you…

  • · Have the same fight on repeat
  • · Feel more like roommates than partners
  • · Want a stronger start before marriage

The process

From gridlock to closeness.

Step 1

Map the cycle

Name your pattern — pursue, withdraw, explode, shut down — without blame.

Step 2

Soften

Share the softer feelings underneath anger: fear, loneliness, longing.

Step 3

Repair

Apologies that land, amends that last, and rituals of reconnection.

Step 4

Protect

Weekly check-ins and conflict rules so old cycles stay retired.

Questions, answered.

Should we come together or separately?

Start together. Brief individual check-ins help us understand each perspective, then the real work happens side by side.

Can counseling help after infidelity?

Often, yes — when both partners want repair. We move slowly through honesty, accountability, and new agreements at a pace that protects everyone.

What if my partner won’t come?

Come alone. One person shifting the pattern often shifts the relationship — and we will coach you on inviting them later.
